Your time commitment to the Optimal AF™ program depends on your level of engagement. At a minimum it is approximately two hours per week for 26 weeks, plus meal prep time.
We suggest that for the first 45 days you are able to create room in your schedule to focus on your program, as you get used to making changes in your life. Ultimately, many of our clients find they're able to create more time in their days and weeks because of improved performance.

No, Optimal AF™ is not a diet in the traditional sense of the word.
While it includes a six-month temporary eating plan aimed at reducing inflammation and enhancing your understanding of how different foods impact your well-being and performance, it's designed to be temporary.
The goal is to provide a personalized pathway to better health and performance through informed dietary choices, not to impose a restrictive or permanent eating regimen.
Though weight loss and health improvements are common outcomes experienced by many of our clients, the core objective of Optimal AF is to empower you with the knowledge and tools to make lasting changes that benefit your overall life and performance.
Yes, during the first 90 days of the Optimal AF program, abstaining from alcohol and other mind-altering substances like marijuana is required. This period is crucial for reducing inflammation to accurately assess how your body responds to different foods and substances.
We suggest you stop consuming alcohol for the entire program, but after your initial 90 days, you can reintroduce alcohol and other substances.
With the insights from the Mediator Release Test, we can pinpoint which types of alcohol (e.g., wine vs. bourbon) have the least inflammatory effect on your body, thus minimizing impact on your performance.
For the initial 90 days, you will temporarily eliminate all grains (including wheat), sugars and sugar substitutes, dairy, alcohol, and even coffee from your diet. (yes, coffee ... though for only 30 days).
This period allows your body to reset and reduce inflammation. We understand the challenge of giving up coffee, and rest assured, we have a strategy to help you through.
After this phase, based on your personalized food sensitives results, we will carefully reintroduce these food groups, provided they don’t cause significant inflammation, allowing you to enjoy a broader range of foods while maintaining optimal health and performance.
